(ASFT) Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Roswell, Georgia with offices in Rhode Island and Washington, DC, ASFT provides Enterprise Information Technology Services and Consulting, Integrated Logistics Services and Management and Training Services to Fortune 1000 companies, the US Department of Defense (DoD), as well as state and local governments. Under the progressive leadership of founder and CEO Anjan Dutta-Gupta, ASFT has since grown to be an international provider of services supporting a diverse customer base.

ASFT: Our Business

Advanced Solutions for Tomorrow, Inc. (ASFT) was founded in July of 1992 as a small defense contracting firm by Anjan Dutta-Gupta. It was the seventh company in the nation to become part of the DoD Mentor Protégé program, a program designed by the Federal Government to help small businesses in the Defense market to grow under the mentoring of a larger Defense contractor; in ASFT's case the mentor was Analysis and Technology.

ASFT's initial years provided service to Navy in Panama City at the Coastal Systems Station, a division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center's Dahlgren Division. In 1996 ASFT acquired a company in Newport, RI, Amtech, and overnight the company size grew exponentially as a new $24 million contract providing Logistics Engineering and Configuration Management Support Services for the Sonar and Combat Control Systems of the SSN and SSBN Submarine Fleet to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC).

An expansion of Government business development efforts set forh within NUWC and outside the defense arena has diversified ASFT's client roster to the Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well the Royal Australian Navy.

ASFT has successfully grown from a government services provider to the private sector as well, expanding from a Logistics Support and Configuration Management service base to a more diverse range of services in the Information Technology and Security, Professional Engineering, Training and Management arenas. By utilizing business development focus teams in separate target sectors, ASFT has created the ability to focus on multiple areas simultaneously, providing an even greater diversified customer base. To this end, ASFT has formed a subsidiary company, Visible Logistics International, specializing in the Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) technology area.

Utilizing the skills of our team, ASFT has created the right formula of Managers, Engineers, and Scientists to build an Enterprise Resource Planning environment to allow a successful implementation of a global Supply Chain of any tangible item, while maintaining it's visibility throughout the entire system and from anywhere in the world. In the commercial sector, ASFT has utilized these capabilities to provide a global supply chain model from India and other countries to North American and the US Military War Theater.
