ASFT Goes Green
May 1, 2008The Atlanta, GA office and Newport, RI offices of Advanced Solutions for Tomorrow Inc. (ASFT) have stepped-up their efforts in the national "Go Green" initiative.
The Aquidneck Corporate Park, home to ASFT's Newport offices, has made a joint commitment to the effort, and ASFT has led the way. The Newport office was cited for its leadership, providing paper recycling bins to all employees. Journalists from the Newport Daily News and local Fox affiliate WNAC joined ASFT on April 30 for a formal kick off.
With paper, bottle, and aluminum recycling receptacles, ASFT has set a goal for 100% recycling. ASFT also committed to increasing its involvement through other avenues, for instance, taking advantage of resource recovery and recycling programs offered by equipment vendors.
Indrani Dutta-Gupta, an Executive Vice President, has led ASFT's initiative to raise its community consciousness. "We live in a global community, and ASFT is very proud to conduct business in a way that is environmentally and socially responsible."
